Welcome

First Congregational United Church of Christ has been serving God and neighbor since 1866.  While our tradition is old our thinking and worship are not!

We are a faith community that believes that our faith is more than our religious beliefs but it is also vitally shaping and transforming us in how we live in day to day life. Christian service and advocacy on behalf of the poor and marginalized are a part of our spiritual DNA. We began as a stop on the underground railroad and that train continues down the tracks today as we continue to follow the Holy Spirit wherever it may lead us!

When you worship with us you will experience; 

1. a genuine and warm welcome

2. Engaging relevant preaching, music and liturgy that bring discipleship to everyday living

3. Church School classes for our young members are held each Sunday. Our Church School is based on a core belief we learn best when we are able to interact with each other and the concepts.

4. Childcare is provided for parents who have infants and toddlers not yet ready for Church School.

5. Our monthly Holy Communion, (First Sunday of each month) Table is open to all.  We believe everyone is welcome to partake at God’s Table of Grace.

6. After worship all are invited for conversation and refreshments.

We worship at 9:30AM and hope you will join us.
