Navigate your way through a corn maze, explore the fields and games, pet the animals.

Meet at Gloria Dei, located at 4501 S. Main St., Downers Grove, at 1:30 p.m. to register.

Discover more about our faith and what it means to be a follower of Christ during this two year journey to Confirmation.
Work with a mentor for weekly classes, monthly breakfast discussions, Christian service outings, and visits to explore other
faith traditions. You do not have to be a member of UCCDG to participate.
Classes start on Wed., Sept., 24 and meet weekly. Games and gathering from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Class from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
8th Grade Curriculum

How do we read the Bible? Is it literal? Allegory? History? How did it come to be? Who wrote its books? A journey in Genesis and the Creation accounts.
What is truth? Who decides?
Topic: Baptism
Happy Halloween - Pumpkin Patch outing - weather permitting.
Cost is $25 per student, includes dinner.
Topic: Light and Dark - the problem of evil and sin
Special homework - watch the movie The Shack. End in candlelight prayer.
